applehead: hey presto! a little felt box
We made this last night to show Eldest Daughter how to use a sewing machine. It works really well for small boxes, and although it was a bit fiddly (do the bottom edges first), all went well.
Until I decided to apply a binding to the top. Cue me screaming at the machine while ED laughed, and I ended up hand-stitching the binding.
If you did little ones - under 3” say - it’ll be almost the same to do them by hand, and probably pretty in a different way.
